Relationship of plasma biomarkers to digital cognitive tests in Alzheimer's disease
This study demonstrates that remote digital cognitive assessments are closely associated with blood-based biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease, particularly plasma phosphorylated tau (p-tau181). By combining online cognitive testing with blood biomarkers, the approach offers a scalable and accessible way to improve early detection, patient stratification, and monitoring of Alzheimer's disease in both clinical care and research.
