11 March 2024 — The National Health Service (NHS) has officially awarded its first service contract to Kneu Health, a HealthTech spinout from the University of Oxford, marking a significant step forward in the integration of cutting-edge technology into the nation's healthcare system for people with Parkinson's Disease.
The contract sees the implementation of Kneu Health's state-of-the-art technology in East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT), with the first patients starting to use the technology in December 2023. Patients, clinicians and the health system are reporting positive experience and outcomes as highlighted in today's press release by ESNEFT.
Amidst an era of rapid technological advancements, ESNEFT has chosen to collaborate with Kneu Health to improve patient outcomes and enhance efficiency within the healthcare system.

The Kneu Health Platform is a class I software as a medical device, MHRA-registered, UKCA-marked, and DTAC compliant. The partnership prioritises the privacy and security of patient information.
Engagement with people with Parkinson's Disease: Individuals living with Parkinson's are closely involved in the design and implementation of the technology and service.
