Kneu Health wins Royal College of Physicians Excellence in Patient Care Award

Kneu Health and our Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Kinan Muhammed, have won the Analogue to Digital Award at the Royal College of Physicians' Excellence in Patient Care Awards 2026.

The award was presented at a ceremony at The Royal College of Physicians at The Spine in Liverpool, where physicians and teams from across the UK and beyond were recognised for their innovation, dedication and leadership in improving patient care.

About the awards

The Royal College of Physicians' Excellence in Patient Care Awards recognise outstanding innovation, improvement and leadership in patient care. The 2026 awards celebrated NHS and healthcare teams delivering measurable impact for patients, staff and services.

The Analogue to Digital category recognises projects that have transformed analogue processes into streamlined digital pathways. From unified patient records to digital-first access and tools such as the NHS app, the award showcases work that empowers patients and eases the burden on staff.

From occasional snapshots to continuous, personalised care

People with Parkinson's can wait up to 12 months between follow-up appointments - and when they are seen, it offers only a brief, subjective snapshot of a condition that fluctuates day to day. Deterioration can go unnoticed until it results in urgent calls, unplanned escalations and emergency admissions.

Kneu Health's platform changes that. Using a patient's own smartphone, it captures objective digital assessments and these insights flow into a clinician dashboard that supports real-time triage, prioritisation and proactive review - so care teams can see how someone is really doing between visits and act before problems escalate.

Real impact, at scale

The platform is now live across multiple NHS hospitals and, following FDA clearance, is also being used in the US. More than 1.5 million digital measures have been captured by the platform so far.

The results speak for themselves. Digital data supported medication and management changes, sites reported reductions in ad hoc patient calls, and clinicians reported more efficient appointments. Patients found the technology easy to use, with sustained improvements in patient empowerment, confidence and knowledge.
